Good for Miles
5-6 years ago I purchased the suede version of this boot. They have been everywhere, Europe, Mexico, the desert, rain sleet and snow. Boots still look great and show no sign of giving up now. So I purchased the leather pair and they are a bit different fit. The leather is stiffer and rubs against my ankle and calf. But still a great boot from La Canadienne. Other reviewers said the boot runs large, I di not experience. One more plus is they are truly waterproof!!

Not the same as it used to be.
I’m normally a 6 in La Canadienne but this boot in the 6 size ran slightly large. But when I ordered the 5.5, it was slightly more confined so I also had to return the 5.5. I think ever since the company got sold around 2019, the quality has not been the same. My old Là Canadienne boots were really good quality. It is too bad but I doubt I will buy this brand again as I’ve tried a few boots but the quality has really gone downhill.

beautiful but plain boot, runs large
This is a beautiful boot. However it runs about a half size large and my ankle was sliding out. Moreover, it looked kind of plain, utilitarian for the price

perfect boot for me
I originally purchased these boots about 5 years ago and have worn them everywhere. Love them. They've held up wonderfully and are so comfortable - I even wore them touristing around London with no problem. Can't imagine winter without them.

Sturdy yet comfortable
La Canadienne makes great boots - these are practical because with the lugged sole they are preferable for bad weather, yet are stylish and very comfortable. I brought the suede ones to Paris and walked miles all over Paris in November and they worked with all my outfits and never gave me any issues.. I hope to keep these for years!
