Snowtrot Waterproof Insulated Mid Hiking Boot (Women)

I was SO excited to find these boots. Plain black, warm, not too tall. Just a simple winter boot for everyday use. I ordered a size up because I heard they ran a little small. Even with a bigger size... I can't even put my foot in! Like how does this even work? When I hold them up to my foot they are too big but the ankle opening is not big enough to allow your foot to slip through. How in the world did this past quality control? I see other people are mentioning the same thing. So bizarre.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got these boots and really like them - with the massive amount of reviews saying they ran very small, I ordered one size up (usually wear an 8, ordered a 9). Unfortunately, I should have gotten my normal size because they are big on me. I have narrow and flat feet, so if that’s your situation as well, you probably don’t need to size up. They were extremely easy to to get on and my heels slip out when I walk, so I doubt sizing down to the 8 would have made any big difference there. Other than that, they are comfortable and warm! I’m planning to mostly use them for dog walks and dog park, so don’t mind if they’re a bit big. I’ll just buy some extra thick socks and make it work!

These are awful cheap boots. Impossible to put on. Impossible to take off. The entire insole and lining come out when you happen to finally be able to get them off. These were advertised as one of the best boots for Grip and non slip on ice. FALSE. These are probably the slipperiest boots I’ve ever worn outside in the winter. It was like Ice skating in the snow, in not a fun way at all.

I first bought these boots at a sales price around $64, but the price went down to $48 for Black Friday before I received them so I bought another pair at $48. My intention was to return the $64 pair but when I received both I decided to keep both pairs because by then my size has sold out, I wasn’t able to buy another pair at price $48. The reason I decided to keep two pairs was because for some reason this year all boots are so so loose!! Boots are becoming increasingly loose around the heals and ankles they don’t lift with my feet when I walk unless I get the lace up ones. These boots to be honest is also pretty loose around the heels and ankles but because they fit slightly smaller than all my other size 8.5 boots(not necessarily half size smaller like a size 8), and they’re very very lightweight, they lift without much problem when walking. They do fit slightly smaller, if you wear thicker socks you might feel too tight at the toes, that’s what happened to me. However they are very warm, I have no need for thick socks when wearing them. For climate reference I live in Denver Colorado.
