I know cuts are made to products when they go to outlet, but this belt is now unwearable after less then a week of ownership

Synthetic backing
This is not the Cole Haan belts I am familiar with. Only the top part of the belt is made with leather. The backing is synthetic, so not that comfortable or ultimately durable. Not sure if I read the synthetic portion of the product description. Otherwise I would not have bought the belt.
