Tiered Ruffle Long Sleeve Maxi Dress

I really like the colors of this dress, but I'm tall and the waist was just under my bra line. Too empire/ maternity looking for me. But the deal breaker was the 3/4 sleeves. It's very uncomfortable and not attractive to have elastic just below your elbow! So odd. Clearly designed for a shorter person; however this would be a maxi dress on anyone under 5'7". I'm 5'9".

What works for me as a 55 year old: beautiful blue print, length hits at lower calf (I’m 5’7”), shape of sleeve & elastic cuffs add interest, body is fully lined so fabric does not cling and is not see through. What is disappointing: v-neck is extremely low and will show more cleavage than I’m comfortable with at work. A v-neck is so flattering for women, but when cut as low as this, I either have to use fashion tape or wear a cami to avoid exposing too much cleavage. Also, description states “keyhole” opening in back, but photos don’t show that the opening is almost down to the waist…so when my upper body moves, the “keyhole” opens and exposes my bra. It’s also not as soft as I expected and that’s due to the linen, which adds stiffness.
