Great dress, but not wearing out in public
I wanted to love this dress so much however it is not lined and it is extremely thin and see-through
This is clearly not dressed to wear during the day or wear out in public, which is such a shame so it was returned

elastic waistband is unnecessary
agree with the reviews about who the dress looking matronly and the linen being scratchy. also, no idea why there is an ill-fitting elastic waistband. the drawstring could cinch as the waist and allow for the dress to flow better, but instead, it is uncomfortable in the midsection. the dress should also have pockets, which is another reason why it is being returned.

Quality lined Linen dress.
C&C dress is high quality linen, it’s lined and very well made. This is a new brand for me. Linen is loose, comfortable and perfect in hot weather. I am very happy with this purchase. In C&C dresses I’m a size XL. I don’t like tight clothes especially in the waist and hips. This elastic waist fits me as is, in size XL. The waist tie can be tightened it you need it. The length is a bit long but I’ll wash it before change it. I’m 5’5” normally a size 14. In some C&C blouses I wear size large.
