Paula Stretch Shaft Tall Boot (Women)

I never thought I would say this, but the shaft of this boot is too tall. I am 6’ tall and have trouble finding boots that are tall enough, but this one hurts the back of my knees! Also the regular calves are too wide for my skinny legs. The toe box is a tad narrow (I have a medium width foot). Finally, I did not like that the backside of the shaft is fabric as the pics do not show this… I know that this is for stretch and comfort, but it looks cheap IMO. I prefer the entire upper to be leather. Otherwise the boots are beautiful. There was some padding in the foot bed, which was nice. Returned.

I absolutely loved how these boots looked and I really wanted to keep them, but the shaft was just too high for my 5’3” frame. They went right up to my kneecaps and I couldn’t bend my legs because the top of the boot was crammed into the back of my knees. These would be really good for taller women who have long legs and have trouble finding boots that are tall enough. The stretch in the back of the boot were perfect for me because I seem to be in between regular and wide widths of most boots. I really wished these had worked for me!
