As someone whose moderately running, does the 1-2 a week hit classes, works from home, appreciates comfort, cuteness, all the color ways - Brooks is the BEST running, great response, cousin, and the added ankle support is a game changer- I adore my On Cloud Monster runner, 4x and cloudswift, reach for my Hokas and recently jumped on the New Balance 9060, 327 own close to 100 pairs of shoes, I feel every fit has its place in my trendy, health-athletic journey, and while the sock, neutral color goes great with my attire, it’s not the most fashion forward, but still cute, neutral, and by far FUNCTIONAL for the higher impact activity -including runs. If your contemplating the Brooks train- jump on it for function, not style but your workouts will thank you.

I'm giving a 3 because of what I'm experiencing now. When I first tried these I was in heaven. I have PF and these felt like walking on a cloud. They also had a little "bounce" that put a pep in my step. After a year of walking in these they have become extremely squeaky! To the point that people have asked me, "is that your shoes?" This is ridiculous considering how much I paid for them. I have other tennis shoes years old that don't squeak. I'm hesitant to buy more due to this issue. I shouldn't have to since these are still in good condition other than the speaking. It's embarrassing.
