Kyoto Slide Sandal (Women)

Very cute and I would have kept them but their sizing stopped at 42 for this style. In other Euro-sized shoes, I wear a 42, which is an 11. In Birks, 43 is an 11, so this style was too short. I was temped to keep them anyway since they are open-toed, but I've done that before and been sorry. For walking, which Birks are perfect for, you need that extra bit of length as the foot pushes forward with each step. I am very disappointed there was no 43 to exchange for, so had to return them. They are very cute, much more stylish than other Birks, extremely well-made.

First the sale price , Yes!! Second or maybe first the beautiful Sienna Red color in which I own a lot clothing already and it’s a great hard to find color for my skin tone. Thirdly, it’s a Birkenstock….translation years of wear and tear!! The only con is if it rubs into my toes as I feel it might before it’s broken in or not. The solution keep the larger size and wear it with thick fuzzy socks over this winter and use them as my driving slippers because I love to drive without shoes on especially long distances, and because of the adjustable straps I can tighten them when barefoot. I have purchased 41 in the past and sometimes my heel comes down on the cork or push forward so I am excited about sizing up!! problem solve I’m keeping them!!- thank you for the foot therapy

I love the Kyoto sandals. This would’ve been my third pair. I have a pair of Bostons in the stone coin color. The stone coin color is a warm grey (with just a hint of brown).They have black soles. They are my favorite Bostons. These Kyotos have a cool grey sole (leans towards blue). I don’t know what the designer was thinking…it’s just wrong. They should have defaulted to the black sole. These are going back.
