Not well designed to put on, take off, stay on
Without something, elastic or a sleeve, it would just slide on my short hair chihuahua, size small . She then was wrapped like a burrito in it. A nice knit, I bought two but the leg holes are too big so they will be passed on.

Cozy coverage
Our little Poo-tzu has skin allergies and we need to keep her covered to prevent her from scratching at cysts. She has a longer back for her size (15 inches at 12 lbs) and this sweater gives her full comfy coverage from the top of neck all the way down her back (she wears size Medium).
