Meadows Slingback Sandal (Women)

I followed the size chart and took my usual 7 but when they arrived they were at least one whole size too big. Honestly, I think I could maybe even go down to a 5, that's how big they are. They were so big that I couldn't even make heads or tails on if I thought they'd make for a comfortable shoe once I got my appropriate size, so because of that, and Nordstrom Rack's bizarre return policy that honestly kind of discourages exchanges lest you pay shipping or buy even MORE stuff, I probably will just fully return these. Besides being too long, the straps themselves were too large for my foot and I'm not sure this would be any different in the appropriate size. The velcro also seemed weak. I could un-velcro the shoe just by pointing my foot while seated, so I can only imagine walking. It's too bad because I got them for travel and they're a bit dressier than some Sorel's that I also got in the same shipment, and I try to pack shoes I can dress up or down given the outfit, so I'll have to pass on these and keep the Sorels.

I live this brand and didn’t expect them to be different, but… these have the funniest fit. The footbed is good, but the straps are SO loose! I have almost tighten the ankle strap but I can put 3 fingers under the top 2 straps they are so loose. A bit awkward to walk in, but stylish 🤷‍♀️ I have to keep them, they were final sale, but would not have bought them if tried first. Fat feet? Maybe good for you.

Ordered my regular size online, picked up in store and when I tried them on, they were like a whole size too big. They were very long, like a size 9 instead of the size 8 they were labeled, and the straps across the top had a lot of space above the tops of my feet, almost like a wide sized shoe. I returned them and think I might reorder them in a size 7, one whole size down, and try again because otherwise, they are a quality shoe.
