I just sized up to a Medium from my usual Small. The cutout in the back is a nice detail (my bra did not show through), and the fit is very flattering.

Perfect, figure flattering black dress!
Love this dress! Comfortable and easy to wear. Flattering for all figures. Only reason I gave it 4 stars and not t is because there's no me tion about the type of bra strap needed for this. Typical bras will not work as the hole in the back is wide.
