Merino Wool Sweater & Slipdress Set

I love the idea of a sweater-over tank dress style but this is not accurately shown in the model photos. The model shows a tank-style strap & a long oversized sweater. In actuality, the dress has spaghetti straps which is much less elegant. The side seams down the hips of the dress do not lay flat so protrude to make me look wider& the sweater is a high-low style that is cropped higher than my belly in front & does not cover my butt in the back. I am 5’9” & wear size 6/27 & although the sweater sleeves were long & the dress was long, it is not as oversized as the model photo & the model’s dress is simply not the same dress.

I am usually wear a size 8 and I order size L in All Saints as I find that for me the brand runs a bit small. The L that I ordered in this sweater dress was huge and boxy. I’d recommend ordering a size or two down. I am 5 foot 8 inches 140 lbs. and this dress was a maxi to the floor on me. I much prefer the midi length All Saints pieces that I have. The sweater was also too boxy. I plan to return the dress. Otherwise the fabric and color are beautiful.
