Lace Detail Midi Dress

I love the way the model on the website looks in this dress, and expected that it would suit my style well. I look great in ethereal lace pieces in delicate colors. I thought it would be a really pretty casual summer dress. Unfortunately, it’s even more informal in person, and all I could see when I looked in the mirror was a granny nightgown. Additionally I think the fit of this is pretty snug for a medium; I usually wear a size 6 to 8 and expected this to be loose if anything. It fit well, I just NEVER want my dresses to look comfier than they are. Ideally it’s the other way around! I think the very young and super slim can pull this off, and the sale price makes it worth trying out if you think you might like this. I just understand why it was marked down. The quality was lacking to me even at the sale price point, with frayed and loose threads in various spots. Sending her back.
