Engineered for conquering the most rugged terrain, this durable hiking shoe grounds each step on shock-absorbing cushioning and high-traction Vibram® rubber.

Perfect for: Hikers looking for grippy, performance comfort on trails with lots of debris, uneven terrain and dramatic vertical changes.

Upper: Durable leather and breathable mesh provide protection and ventilation. Kinetic Fit™ Advanced footbed provides a biometric foundation that contours to the shape of your foot. A bellows tongue and protective caps on the heel and toe keep rocks and trail debris at bay.

Midsole Drop: 11mm. Classified as a high-drop measurement, it allows for more cushioning to absorb the impact of heel strikes.

Lower: Merrell Air Cushion technology absorbs shock as your stride changes with the terrain. Best-in-class Vibram TC5+ lugged sole provides reliable traction and ground grip on any surface and in any conditions.

I am very disappointed with my purchase, I received these shoes size 8 & 8.5 used! the soles were very dirty, didn't come in their original boxes, I understand sometime the ship them in Nordstroms Rack string shoe bags, but how can employees mail them dirty?? Very unacceptable. I will return tomorrow hoping to get a refund. Customer should not be receiving used/dirty shoes

This is a perfect fit.
This is my third pair of Moab. Size 5 is difficult to find. It is the only brand I wear. It is always a perfect fit & lasts for years!

I bought these shoes in wide a month ago and have done two 7-mile hikes and a few 4-mile hikes. I do like the width and ventilation, but they have zero cushion and minimal support. My feet tired after 5 miles and my plantar fasciitis flared up. I can't wear them even after replacing the insoles :-(

Great style; not so comfortable
I received these shoes as a Christmas gift. Am familiar with Merrell shoes as I wear the jungle mocs. Needed a hiking shoe with a thick bottom so I was thrilled to get these. I am sometimes in-between sizes and the half-size up seems to work here. But after I wore these for the first time for an hour hike, the balls of my feet hurt. I felt the inside with my hand and was surprised to find that the ball of the foot was hard, with no cushioning at all. I really like the shoes but will have to get ball-of-foot cushions to keep wearing them.

Extremely comfortable, well made shoe. Perfect shoes for the beginner to intermediate hiker. Lots of grip and comfortable cushioning on the inside. Extremely happy with these! So much so, in fact. Ordered a second pair!
