Penny Loafer (Men)

I have the burgundy. Beautiful shoe--I walked in to a men's clothing store, and the salesmen, with an eye for fashion, complimented me on them. Here's the thing, though, the leather is thick and will take a bit of break-in. The first week (1-2 times per week), I was unsure whether they were too hard to walk on. The second week, they got better. By the end of the first month, they were comfortable to walk on, and were beginning to form. I look forward to wearing these a long time, as they are well-built and very good-looking. But like anything worthwhile, they take time.

Absolutely gorgeous shoe. The leather is nice and shiny if you like that. But the size is just odd. I'm usually a 9 in loafers, 9.5 in derby's, and 10 in sneakers. I got a size 9 and it was massive. Would have had to go down to an 8 for a good fit and just decided to go with a different pair instead of trying to order the smaller size.
