Great for Hiking and Everyday
I was amazed at the quality of Wrapt hiking shoes. In November I traveled to Sedona for hiking the beauty of the canyons. I made a quick purchase of hiking shoes, not waterproof, not Wrapt. I found these on sale when I returned they’re super; comfortable, substantial traction/support, and attractive!

Not true foot shape - hiker, NO!
This shoe is stylish which is why I think Merrill shied away from a true foot shape. If you have a narrow foot and would like an in town shoe, this can work. As a hiker foot shape, absolutely not! 1. The foot shape does not allow for anything other than a narrow foot. If you have a medium or wide foot and/or you want to wear thicker socks, forget it. Hey Merrill, match your foot shape competitors for true toe splay that allows for every foot. 2. Does NOT offer any protection from gravel, small rocks, or sharp edges. I mean zero. Unless you are on a flat surface, forget it. Merrill, offer a sole that can actually take a hike and provide at least some cushion from the road. 3. I give Merrill credit for getting into the zero drop side of the business, but please do your homework. For now, look to other zero drop companies. There are many now to choose from.

Grips the terrain amazingly well!
I’m 63 years old, not in great shape. When I wear these hiking I feel like SPIDER-MAN!!! I highly recommend these for hiking.

Great for uneven terrain
These are so comfortable, and much better than more rigid shoes for walking on uneven ground. I feel balanced and stable. They are more work to put on than any other hiking show I have but worth the trouble. I usually wear a 10 1/2 but needed an 11 in these, and they are snug lengthwise. The width is fine for my narrow feet. I just wear a thin merino wool sock or go barefoot. I was delighted to see a reviewer said they were great after knee surgery as I am having that soon.

Wrapt mid waterproof boots provide lasting comfort
I love these Women's Wrapt Mid Waterproof boots, they fit perfectly and are so comfortable. I bought the black ones to wear at work. I'm on my feet for up to 8 hours a day on hard floors, and these Wrapt mids feel like a natural extension of my feet with more support/protection. The additional ankle support with this style is important to me. There's no pinching/soreness/foot fatigue and the grippy sole provides extra stability and safety. I've worn them five days a week over the past two months. I now have an additional pair and plan on getting more. I wear Moab 3 mids for hiking, and have bought multiple pairs over the years. Merrell is my preferred footwear brand for quality products.

Love the Wrapt Mid Waterproofs
Great shoes! Great fit out of the box, no break in period required. I'm glad I paid attention to recommendation to size up 1/2 size because my usual size wouldn't have fit. I live in the PNW and can confirm they are waterproof. No doubt I will purchase more Wrapt's in the future.

Good boots, a little delicate
I like these boots for the most part. They run a little small compared to some other boots. I guess that’s part of the snug fit. I returned my 9.5 pair for a 10 and they are extremely comfortable. They are my everyday wear work boots for snow and rain and hike commuting. I also work in the field a lot. I never even had to break these in; I was able to wear them at work and go for a five mile hike after and not get blisters. My only issue is some wear and tear on the bottom material and that the laces almost immediately were destroyed by the narrow lace loop at the ankle juncture of the boot when pulled (not too hard) to tighten the laces at the bottom half of the boot.
