Uptown Willa Slip-On Sneaker (Women)

Uptown Willas were a great gift for a trip with a LOT of walking on tiled city streets, up & down hills & staircases. My mother has had bunion surgery, sprained ankles and knee surgery, yet she found these were the most comfortable choice for her trip. The color has a subtle pearly sheen but they’re still neutral & understated. When more colors come back in stock we’ll probably order more. The rubber didn’t peel away from the leather on this pair like it did on the toe of my silver pair, nothing some glue can’t fix. The comfort is worth the price, we’ll see how they hold up over time.

If anyone is looking for a really good travel shoe I can’t say enough about these Vionic Willa slip-ons. I knew we would be doing a lot of walking and so needed a very comfortable shoe and Vionic is known for their podiatrist-designed orthotic support. I also prefer to travel as light as possible and so was looking for a shoe that could serve every purpose from miles of walking to biking around Kyoto to dressing up for fancy dinners. As a shameless fashionista I really wanted my shoes to look nice when we dressed up, and this was a tall order since I wanted to bring only one pair for the whole trip. The black sole and the suede upper helped them more or less disappear for a clean minimal look. If you’re looking for a great all purpose travel shoe I highly recommend these.
