Not the Ted Baker you remember
If you’ve owned previous TB sneakers, these will disappoint. The quality has changed significantly and not for the better. Older versions of this sneaker were manufactured in Vietnam, had a rubber sole with high quality leather, and noticeable craftsmanship worthy of the Brands reputation. This current version is made in China, and the quality is horrendous. The leather feels thin, rubbery, and cheap. The sole feels like an authentic rubber, which will wear poorly over time. The overall fit and finish is also really bad, with the leather being “baggy” where it should be smooth. Even at the price point of Nordstrom Rack, you can still find higher quality sneakers than these for $100.
