Valeri Platform Slide Sandal (Women)

These look gorgeous and the leather is of nice quality. When I saw the model in a platform version, I thought “this must be my it sandal”. In person, the extra arch support is very welcome (compared to the classic version with the thin sole) BUT the added weight to the sole makes it flapping too much and hard to keep on the foot. Sad to come to this conclusion; hopefully it just did’n work for my build but will work for others. I had to return. 🙁

I thought it was a good looking sandal. I read the comments but I didn’t read anything about hurting their feet. I didn’t return it because it was too late. I didn’t start wearing them until later. Besides sliding away from my feet it also hurt. It gave me a blister. I would have returned if I could. I don’t recommend buying this sandals, not worth your money.

I needed a slip on sandal for my vacation & wanted to like these iconic slide sandals. Due to age & a bone spur, my shoe size is 7W. Even in the wide size they hurt my feet. The material is hard. I found myself struggling to keep them on my feet. I don’t believe a smaller size would have helped. IMO, if you’re between sizes order 1/2 down.

I have several Sam Edelman sandals in size 4, even 4.5 so I know the fit and like the quality. I first ordered this in 4.5 and they were too big, so I returned them and ordered a size 4 - they were still huge! Very wide and beaching that my foot moved all the way forward, which made it look way too big in the back as well. I’m not sure why this brand is changing its sizing so drastically, unfortunately you’ve lost a customer until the sizing changes back. The rating is based on sizing - the materials looked decent.

I received a pair that have clearly been worn, filthy black soles, and worn footbeds.... seems both Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack has often been sending out used items. This isn't the first time I've experienced this... This isn't acceptable - customers should receive new merchandise. Last I checked you're not a thrift store.
