Askern Waterproof Suede Platform Bootie (Women)

I went back and forth a lot with these because I’m always doubtful of an ankle boot being supportive enough especially in the snow. So I’ve tested these out and i can say i love them. I got my true size and they are snug in a good way. The fur lined inside of the shoe feels great. Plus they’re so cute in person.

I really like this bootie. I couldn’t decide which color to choose so bought the black pair and liked them so much that I decided to buy the olive pair. 5 stars for the bootie, negative 5 stars for being sent a worn pair. The bottoms are filthy, the back of the heel is worn down and the “fur” on the inside is completely flat. They also came in a Nordstrom box instead of a Hunter box. This is the second time in a matter of months that I’ve received used shoes, the first pair was a pair of Adidas tennis shoes. I’m a little shocked by receiving anything used/worn from Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack. This is really disappointing Nordstrom as I can’t replace them now because they are sold out. :(

I am replacing my Hunter lined rain booties (really more like a shoe) that my dog chewed up. They were perfect for running outside with the dog early morning with dew on the ground. Sadly, looks like Hunter no longer makes those, so I tried these. They run very large in the rear foot and my heel came right out as I walked around. If they offered a half size I’d tried them smaller. Disappointed. Can’t seem to find anything like what I had.
