size runs very large, beautifully made
this shoe is beautifully made and the saffiano leather adds some subtle elegance. however, the #8 i rcvd, marked #8 in the shoe, was actually much larger than other brands of size #8.5 loafers on hand . the leather is extremely stiff. i usually wear an 8.5 but as there are notes from others advising that the shoe runs large, i ordered an 8. the 3 stars is only for the sizing and stiffness. otherwise i would have rated another 1-2 stars.
