On the Go Flex Slip-On (Women)

I've been wearing sketchers shoes for years and these are the first that just really aren't comfortable. The back part comes up way higher than all the other sketchers I've worn. When I walk and my ankle bends, it forces the back of the shoe to stab against my ankle where shoes don't normally rub, giving me a blister. I thought maybe they were just stiff because I needed to break them in. I've been wearing them once a week for the past month and a half or so (with bandaids on my ankles and extra thick socks!) but they're still causing me the same amount of pain
