Boot shaft too tall for 5’3” girl
These black boots are beautiful, and Stuart Weitzman 7.5 regular width consistently fits me well, true to size. But I’m 5’3”, and the shaft is just too tall for me. It seems they only make knee boots for tall people now. Returned with regret.

Worth It
The quality is on par with the price—rich, sumptuous leather inside and out, quality construction, stacked heel. The boot is “knee high” but not quite to my knee (Im 5’6”.). So I think it will work for petites. The calf is not as generous as some knee boots, but I can wear them with skinny jeans tucked in, no problem. The style is timeless. The toe is more round vs almond or pointed. I was looking for a dress boot. This is almost there but not quite what I would wear with say, a date night outfit or to work. Its slightly more casual—just like a riding boot, but with an adorable, wearable heel. Still, they are so luxurious, Ill find an occasion to wear them!! Size up.
