Explorer Chelsea Boot (Women)

These boots barely fit. I wouldn't want to wear them for more than a couple of hours because there's not enough room if my feet swell, even slightly. I don't think that this situation would improve if I went up a half size from a 9.5 to a 10. I want you to know that I have really small ankles and these boots would not allow me to put them on if I had average size ankles. These will be donated after this winter.

I have other Sorel boots, so I expected excellent quality leather, and workmanship in the make up and finish of the boots. They delivered. I sized up by a half (81/2), so I could wear thick socks. My feet slipped right in, they were comfortable from the beginning, and there was no need to break them in. I wore them for about 6 hours, and absolutely no problem. Another winner from Sorel.

I actually love these boots. I got the black and they look cool with a lot of outfits. They’re not heavy and have a good amount of flexibility. Very comfortable from day one and are great in inclement weather. I ordered 1/2 size up, as I tend to do with boots in order to fit a thicker sock. Perfection.
