Not Extended Enough!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have large, athletic calves and was excited to try these extended calf boots. Unfortunately, I did not find these to be true to extended calf... I have 17 inch calves and these boots did not fit over the largest part of them. Madewell really needs to start including the calf circumference measurements in their sizing info. Very disappointing. Please make actual extended calf boots for us large calf girlies!

Finally something that fits my calves!
I am slim/ medium build all around but I have thick calves! It slips right on and I’m so glad I measured my calves to make sure. I got a 7 1/2 when I am typically an 8 in sneakers

Love these boots!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for a pair of tall black boots for some time and am so happy I found these. The kitten heel gives some height while still being comfortable, the slight slouch in the structure gives them a modern look, and the option to purchase extended calf is awesome. I sized up half a size to allow for socks.

Great for Petite Girlies with Bigger Calves
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm under 5ft and have slighter larger calves, so finding boots that fit around the calves and fit below the knees is hard! Surprisingly, these fit like a glove and I am so happy to report that I still had some space in the legs to wear jeans in if wanted to. I know that Madewell shoes generally run small, so I sized up a half and it fit nicely with just enough room if I was wearing socks with it as opposed to stockings, it would still fit without feeling like it was squishing my toes. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase!

Perfection
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My calves are a little too thick for most tall boots, but most plus-size and wide-calf styles are too big for me. These are perfect for those of us in that in-between. The are GORGEOUS and the kitten heal is so comfortable! I did go up 1/2 a size based on the other reviews and they fit great. My first time wearing them was over 4 hours

Missed the Mark
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have slightly large calves and they fit snugly in these boots. I was hoping for a loose fit so I returned these. If you have truly wide calves these will not work.
