  • The SweetFoam™ midsole is made with sugarcane-based EVA, a carbon-negative alternative to EVA foam derived from petroleum. The sugarcane is sourced from southern Brazil, where it relies on rainwater, not irrigation. It’s sourced according to rigorous standards jointly developed by Proforest and Braskem, and the farms are audited by a third party. AllBirds is allowing its Carbon Footprint tools to be open source rather than proprietary, so it can make a difference in the shoe industry as a whole

Wrong size shipped, desired item out-of-stock by return process
I was very excited for these to arrive as my old Tree Skippers are so well-loved they’ve developed some holes. Unfortunately while the box said W8, the shoes inside were W7 and didn’t fit. Although I initiated the exchange immediately, this color which was my strong preference due to both the purple and the darker sole, was no longer available. I ultimately ordered an alternate color that arrived in the purchased size.

Light slip on
These are comfortable for hanging out in and easy to get on and off. They don't have quiet the knee/joint support that I need for lots of walking though.

Amazing as always!
These are one of the best shoes Allbirds have. They are absolutely prefect for me. Wear them all winter long - stopped wearing Ugg's. They keep my feet warm and are very comfortable. just love them.

Breezy, lightweight
I love my Tree Runners - but not quite as much as I love my wool runner mizzles. The Tree runners are lighter weight and much cooler for summer months - I use them for walking or just wearing around. They are quite comfortable for me, but are more loose than the wool version in the same size so they slip around a bit on my feet. If I replace them eventually, I might try a size down to see if that's the issue. The other thing I don't quite love is that the sole's on these are a thinner and softer than on the wool version - not as stable or supportive, but still quite comfy for the most part. I have noticed that you can feel small stones and such through the soles on these, which I can't on the sturdier wool runners.
