leather is defect free' ombre dyeing is interesting, but don't know where Nordstrom Rack gets off calling these $300 shoes at other stores, but nowhere close to that level quality. $50 shoes at best. If around that price, then buy.

Shoes Made from Dinosaur Oil
All man-made synthetics. Even the "stich" around the trim between sole and upper is fake. The shoes is comfortable, but be aware that dress shoes made from synthetics don't breathe well. The sole is rubber, the heal is rubber. The black shimmer also looks like fake leather. Would only use these as burners in a warehouse office.

Fairly Bad Shoes
Low quality overall, weird finish/color, not the most uncomfortable dress shoe but nothing great. Additionally, shipped in a bag rather than a box, so one light scratch noticeable. Final sale, otherwise would return.
