Clemens Ankle Strap Platform Wedge Sandal (Women)

Oh my gosh!!! These shoes are so much better than I expected. They are super comfy and the leather is soft and has enough flex to move with you, but not dangerous. I LOVE the color. Vibrant and beautiful. I was cautiously optimistic and pleasantly surprised. Real talk I’m 5’4, curvy and 220lbs. When I say these shoes are comfy, I’m talking to us curvy girls too.

I have never returned a pair of Franco Sarto shoes until now. I read the reviews that they ran small, so I ordered a nine-wide to ensure they were not too small and snug. My toes were hanging over the front of the shoes, and they were so tight—no way it was wide; they were beautiful shoes.

I had been looking for an espadrille wedge that would go with anything, and these fit the bill perfectly. I wear a size 6 in most shoes, but after reading other reviews stating these ran tight/short, I ordered 4 different sizes (6M, 6W, 6.5M, and 6.5W), and ended up keeping the 6.5M, so I would agree that these run a little small. I find these sandals comfortable and fairly easy to walk in, and I love that the stripes/colors are not perfectly symmetrical - I think it adds character to the sandal. I love these sandals and expect to get a lot of wear out of them.

I ordered these in 9.5 Wide. When I tried them on I could barely squeeze my foot into them. I thought there must have been a mixup and I received the regular or possibly even narrow width instead. But no - they were the correct size. Just be aware if you have wide feet these shoes, even in wide, will be very narrow.
