Elle Slingback Sandal (Women)

I purchased the Elle backstrap a couple years ago, and I loved them. I wanted a pair in black, but the black version of the backstrap has an all black foot bed, not tan like all the other colors of the backstrap. When I found these, I was really happy with the look and decided to give them a try. I like the fit and the style, however, there is a strange crease in the sole right where the ball of my foot hits. It’s in the same place on both shoes and I noticed that another reviewer mentioned the exact same thing, so I assume it is the result of the cork material maybe. This crease folds when i take a step and it rubs/pinches the ball of my foot. I’m super bummed because the Elle backstrap shoes I had were so comfortable, but I’m not sure that I’ll be able to walk for long periods of time with this pinching on the ball of my foot.
