I am returning
I purchased this shoe on sale in store. I did not get a chance to read the reviews but they will be returned. The shoe is very cute but it is indeed scratchy to the top of the foot I wore them for a few hours to see if this would improve and it did not.

Very scratchy.
Loved the look of these sandals especially in the brown color but the underside of the leather that lays against the top of your foot is about as scratchy as sandpaper. No joke. I couldn't wear them even for a minute. I took a few steps in them and I had to take them off immediately. Too bad because otherwise the sandals are very stylish and the footbed is comfy. Not sure why a 138 dollar leather sandal isn't finished better on the part that actual makes contact with the delicate area on the top of your foot. 2 stars for style and for the comfortable footbed.
