Talena Sneaker (Women)

I really wanted to love this shoe, as it has so many things I was looking for. The knit upper looks and feels great and has a bit of give to it. I often need a slightly wider than normal toe box, and the knit stretches a little (yet can be laced fairly tight at the ankle), so I don’t need that in this shoe. I bought the “dove” color, which is just the dark beige neutral I wanted. Some people might like contrast laces, but I love that this shoe’s laces match the color of the upper. The big drawback for me is the sewn-in tab at the heel, which rubs and feels uncomfortable. It was so noticeable when I tried these on, that I couldn’t imagine wearing them for very long. And at the current price, I am sure I can find another brand that will fit more comfortably. The tab on this shoe made them a big disappointment, so I sent them back.
