Classic New Heights Short Boot (Women)

The style: I read mixed reviews but really wanted a platform winter sherpa boot and the choices are not so many. I liked the style of this in the photos due to the akward but uniquely distinctive look. They almost look like an animated character's shoe. The color of the heel is not the same as the upper...this will either bother you, or you will appreciate it for this reason. The comfort: I tried another pair of platform Uggs currently in season, and those fit really tight, uncomfortably and looked "ordinary." These slipped on like silk and are really comfy to walk around in. They are a bit heavy and clunky, but if you're just running errands or wearing around the house, they are wonderful and warm. FYI - I usually wear a 7.5 in boots and 8 in sneakers. Upon the advice of the listing, if you are in between sizes, size down. I went with a 7. They fit well and I have thick calves, and wide feet...

After ordering a pair of boots for my daughter via online and I ordered them 14 days before Christmas. With a quick shipment promise, the boots never arrived! And after 5 phone calls to customer service over the last week and a half, not one agent would tell me the truth about my order! Which had me waiting and waiting til now it's Christmas, too late to go buy another gift and still NO DELIVERY!! On top of that, the boots are now $20.00 cheaper and I've heard nothing about Nordstrom Rack refunding my extra $20.00 paid. I love the Rack BUT will no longer purchase online! My first and last time!!
