Poor quality
Just got my pair and after a day of wear, the back strap ripped. Also the inner insulation scrunches up when putting the boot on. I usually rely on this brand because they have proven to work well and be of good quality, however needless to say I am disappointed with this pair.

Eyelet Tab Failure
I got these for Xmas and they had become my favorite comfy boots since My old Asolo globalines in 99’. Barely even abused now that I am in my 50’s, these boots failed just when they got comfortable. From reviews it seems a common problem.

So sad, too . . .
This choice was my fifth order for Merrell shoes. Very satisfied with all until the Moab shoe started to lose lace attachments after 1 week of use. Merrell did give full refund after I made report with photo of problem.

Ratings aren’t accurate on here
Some of these reviews seem to be such an overreaction. One star because an eyelet broke?? I understand that shouldn’t happen, and is certainly worth mentioning in a review and to customer service. But these boots are still really comfortable, great traction on ice, and are as waterproof as hiking boots can get. Surprised to come back a couple months after my purchase to see an average review under 4 stars.
