Great boots
I’ve been looking for a perfect pair of platform Chelsea boots and these are it. I’ve gotten Marc fisher and Sam Edelman in the past but these docs are better looking and more comfortable. I think shaft width is perfect and didn’t need a break in period. In lace up docs my regular size (10) is a bit big, but in these a 10 is perfect. I’m very happy with this purchase.

perfect for anytime
I love Dr Martens. Have a pair that’s over 20yrs old. These shoes stand the test of time & the quality proves it. Doc’s are a little heavy but they’re comfortable. This style is perfect b/c they zip and you don’t have to mess with lacing them up. Easy on, easy off. I wear mine with jeans, shorts, skirts, whatever. Docs run big for me but I also have a slender foot.

Too big and then too small :(
I wanted to love these so baddddd grrrrrr <|3 . I’m a 6.5 and both the 6 and the 5 did not fit . 7 I didn’t even bother with bc the 6 still had too much space in the heel and it was hurting to walk . I then ordered the 5 to see if maybe just maybe it would fit and it was too smallllll SADDDDD these fit so weird for half sizes . Better luck next time with a whole diff shoe :(((

Weird fit
I am always a 7 in Dr Martens but an 8 in everything else. I got these in a 7 and they fit great and were really comfortable until I started walking in them. My big toe was hitting the front of the boot so I sized up. When I ordered the 8, they were enormous even with thick socks. I had to return them both and just give up on this style.
