Finally! — Hits all the right notes
This boot has been just right in all the ways:
Most importantly, the toe-box is shaped nicely so there’s room and comfort
The laces look like they could be a hassle, but actually they are quick and easy because there’s only a few lace-up points. The laces themselves are sturdy and good-quality
I double-knot them, and they always feel secure plus the lacing makes them flattering at the ankle and leg
The treads are durable and the heel gives them a great shape while still being stable and comfortable
I wore them all through the season before writing this review — with tights and dresses, or with socks and pants — these have been such a winning purchase, and they seem like they will last a long time too!! Highly recommend! Now I know I’m a big Sorel fan!!

Why am I a comfortable size 9.5 in the Sorel shoes I already own and require a 10.5 in these. I wish they would note when they make their shoes narrow. I developed a bunion last year and was basically unable to walk and need to have some supportive shoes for winter, but narrow cannot work with bunions.

Length TTS, but tight across instep
I have 6 pairs of Sorel boots, all size 7. These were the only ones that fit tight across the instep, about an inch behind the ball of my foot. I don't have high arches- I have flat feet, so these should have fit.
