not for high arches or wider feet
These are gorgeous shoes. I am a 7 but went with 7.5 as I heard this brand runs smaller. Alas, not enough room still. I have high arches and so although length was just right the vamp was too tight for comfort. The leather is very stiff with no stretch. Anyway I’m returning and I ordered 8.5 and will see if that works as I love them. Best for a narrow or flatter foot.

Blast From the Past
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shoe, by Karl Lagerfeld, definitely has that retro 70’s feel. It reminds me of the old school Candies that were popular back in the day. Despite the sandal’s height, it really is quite comfortable to walk in, due in part to the shoe’s platform and block heel. And unlike wearing stilettos, I had no trouble maintaining my balance while strutting around in these. Not only did my feet feel completely supported and stable, but my arches and the balls of my foot weren’t aching after wearing them for an extended period of time.
I will say, however, that initially the shoe felt a little tight around the toes but I think they will be fine once I break them in a bit.
To me the only real drawback was the style. I own the shoes in black. And while I like the quilted detail on the leather, I could do without all the beading. I feel it limits my wardrobe options. I’ll probably just continue to pair them with jeans—because at 5’4”, it’s nice to have an extra boost in height!

Look, I'm Tall!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wore these platform sandals to a wedding, and they were perfect. I am not good in heels, but this shoe provided the support I needed with that larger heel. I didn't fall or break an ankle, so that means, they worked. They aren't the cutest shoes in the world, but they aren't the ugliest, either.
