Cosmo Bootie (Women)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really wish Melissa wouldn't discriminate against those of us who don't fit neatly into a whole size, and (gasp!) may need a half-size smaller or larger. That works for things like Crocs because they're inherently a roomier design. The boots are fun (as were the Coturnos, sneakers, and heels I got many years ago in a whole size smaller because no half-size options, but all of those were snug. Incidentally, even if squeezing in, I also can't wear the Coturnos out anywhere due to a confounded squeak they acquired after just a couple wears. Incredibly frustrating . Anyway, thought these could be a replacement. Sized up for these and you guessed it, they are too big). Against my better judgement I bought these thinking I could add an insole, some thick socks for the winter. Did not work. Feet keep sliding toward the toe box. Also the tongue is not constructed properly, they're not wide enough to even reach the 2 edges of the mouth of the shoe. So they're always curling and peeking out of the gaps between lace anchors, even when laced up tightly. Love the color and overall look but the are a disappointment. Will not be buying anything further until they're available in half sizes. Gave 3 stars as they're technically wearable and function, and they do look generally as they appear online.
