Trail Code Gore-Tex^® Hiking Boot (Women)

Wonderful pair of hiking boots! I sized up at half size. I always do that with Hoka. These give you ankle support without being heavy. I’ve spent the last three days hiking several dozen miles in them and absolutely love the grip love the treads, love, the fact that they come up around my ankle, highly recommend if you’re a hiker!

These unusual ankle hiking boots are extremely stylish. I bought them because I knew that the brand Hoka is known for it's comfort and stability. These colorful ankle boots don't lie. They're extremely comfy with padding around the ankle. You get the wide base for stability and lots of grip for your hike. I came back from my hike exhausted but my feet were ready to take on more. I wear a 7.5 and they fit as expected, no guessing.

My wife says that these seem like nice boots. Unfortunately, she has been unable to wear them due to their being too small. She'd like to return them for a larger size, but Nordstrom is only offering to exchange them if she brings them into a Nordstrom Rack location over 99 miles away. That seems unacceptable and is not the type of customer centric shopping policy we've come expect from this company.

I was excited to get the boots. I wear a size 9.5 but sized up to 10 and glad I did. They seem ok although very poor arch support. I had to put inserts into them. When I walk, the boots are extremely noisy, like taking a piece of card stock and bending it back and forth with every step. Noise is generating from the rigid plastic feeling fabric where my fingers are in the photo. I’m going to give them a shot on the trail tomorrow. If noise continues, definitely returning.
