Comfortable and easy to clean
I've tried on a few brands of "plasitc" loafers such as Sperry, and all of them felt like they were chewing on my foot after walking a block. I wanted a pair for camping so I could just easily wash off the dirt while still having a decent looking shoe, so I kept them on my list. The Flowfers are much softer and have a better fit for my medium to low volume foot. I still wouldn't recommend them for a major hike or a full day of walking around town, but they seem pretty comfortable so far for a few hours. The look of the dark grey is decent with a pair of shorts, and doesn't scream plasitc shoe. They would also be good for boating or maybe a water park. Probably pick up quite a bit of sand on a long beach walk, but I haven't tried that.
