In an open toe shoe is usually 8-8.5, and depending on how the shoe is cut and the length, in most cases Wide Width.
This shoe is a true 8.5W, even the length.
I first ordered the 8W according to reviews that said shoe runs large and go down a 1/2 size.
I have a high instep and broke the bone in my left foot twice, so I need the width to be wider for that foot. If you have a bunion, hammer toes or just a wider foot, get a wide width, you will not regret it. If you have a slender or average feet with no issues, then average width will work. Hope this helps.

I wanted to love these shoes. They look very cheaply made and I wasn’t impressed with the quality for the price. I ordered a 10W and the shoes were way too big and not comfortable. Def returning these! They look like they would fall apart easily.

Toe cleavage haters beware!
The cut of this shoe is weird. The shoe only covers part of my toes and the little hole shows my toe cleavage and it looks so weird. So said because they looked cute online. Will be returning.

Cute retro look
Cute retro look but too big. I normally wear a 9W and was thrilled to see these come in wide. They are at least a 1/2 size to long so I’ll exchange for an 81/2W. The material isn’t leather but you get what you pay for.

Squeaks when you walk
The shoe looks good but the size runs large. Size a half size down! Also, after 2-3 wears, the shoe starts squeaking pretty loudly it’s embarrassing. No longer will wear them for that reason.
