Witch-Doctor Martens! Buyer Beware.
Dr. Martens? These boots aren't made solely of leather; the soles are different, and they lack the metal waterproof tag. I immediately took out an older pair to compare with the new ones. The new pair, made in Bangladesh, feels like a synthetic material. There might be a very, very, very small percentage of leather in them, but it's not detectable at all.
I've already printed my return receipt to take to the store since it costs $9.95 to return them by mail. What a disappointment! This experience will make me think twice about purchasing higher-end name brands from The Rack online in the future. The boot on the right in my photos is the real leather older Dr. Martens boot.

My wallet said yes, my feet said nope.
I really liked these boots. I read the reviews and saw people complained about them being too small or tight. I have several pairs of Docs and have for over 20 years and I know all too well the breaking in process. I also know to buy a half size smaller as they usually run a little big. I bought these shoes a half size bigger because of the reviews. I still could not get my foot in the boot. They are very very narrow. Even loosening them up as much as I could, my foot would not fit in these boots. There would be no possible way for me to break these in. The type of leather has no give. I’ve never felt such a stiff boot in all me life. I sadly returned them.
