Skyfire 2 Trail Running Shoe (Men)

High quality, very narrow! I really liked these shoes. They appear to be very high quality, super lightweight and should breathe well. I tried them on and immediately noticed that they are TIGHT in the toebox. I wore them around the for 20 minutes and my toes started to tingle. I really wanted to keep them, but sadly they aren’t for me (wide feet).

These shoes are the best I have ever owned! Ok they are not the best work boots, but when my boots come off my skyfires go on. They are literally lighter than my socks and so far they have been extremely durable. I am extremely hard on shoes and no shoes I find can withstand my abuse. That is untill I found Merrell. I was surprised due to their lightness but they have held up strong and even still look good. I have a new favorite brand. I just stumbled across them by chance due to their low weight and a desire for something that doesn’t hurt my back, now I will buy nothing else.

Have about 30 miles hiking in these bad boys. Traction is superb. Weight is superb. Breathability is superb. First trip out was a 15 mile hike thru rocks, mud, trails, asphalt where I paced my brother in his 100-mile trek from midnight to 6am. These shows are awesome. Zero blisters. The only qualm is that the way the shoe is designed allows for dirt to get in around your ankles. So I will be buying gaiters.
